Age, gender, current fitness level, or athleticism are not factors in starting martial arts training.
The purpose of Raven Self-Defense Utaka-Ha lies not in victory or defeat but in the perfection of one’s character. Martial Arts and the Ninshido Modern Day Samurai philosophy enhance one's self-worth and develop character and maturity. This is instilled in all students, helping them find self-confidence and discipline, putting them on a pathway to higher achievement outside the dojo. In essence, this is Transformational and Therapeutic training, like nothing else in the world.
